So what is these rules all about?
A relative of a friend of mine was admitted in the hospital.
Surgery was done and he was discharged despite not seen by physio yet.
So today I went and ask my boss about the patient being discharged by another specialist the day before even before he was seen by the physiotherapy team.
My boss was nice enough to explained it to me until he came up with another sentence.
"When working, there are two rules to follow. Rule 1: Your boss is always right. Rule 2: Even when you boss is wrong, rule 1 still applies."
Haha.. damn ka na sai!

Too Young for Healthy Food?
I was in the clinic for blood taking.
There was this last patient of mine asking about diabetes after I finished taking her blood.
She has a family history of diabetes.
She was asking about eating healthily and I mentioned about eating unpolished rice.
When I mentioned that I'm eating this kind of rice, she said I'm too young to be enjoying this kind of rice..
Yea... it taste a bit weird. But nothing wrong about eating healthily right? :p

Never send a man to a woman's talk
Hmm... why do I say that?
They send me to a woman's health talk today.
Being organised by many pharmaceutical companies, there will be goodies bag.
What did I get in there?
SANITARY PAD!
WTH am I supposed to do with it?
They say it's a unisex talk but then all the things in the bad are no unisex at all.
What am I going to do with the pads?
Geez.... I guess I can use it during flu then. Good absorption for running nose. Haha.. :p

Pawned by a Pro
One day, in the ward:
Me: Uncle, I have to take your blood.
Uncle: Har? Why? The Emergency Room fellas tried and can't get them even after poking me more than 10 times!
Me: Why not I try?
Uncle: Better not. Lets take from my highway. I will take myself. The day I start playing with needles I think you are still a freaking small kid. Haha..
Me: Haha.. okok. -_-"
And so the uncle out performed me with a withdrawing of 10ml blood with ease from his femoral veins.
Why is it so easy for him? Well, he's a drug addict. A highway is the vein easily access to them, which are usually the big large veins, such as femoral veins. Drug addict's peripheral veins are usually sclerosed and it makes blood taking hard. Sigh...

Damn it! I hate you UMS Medical School!
Tomorrow is one of the best event that I would have participated. But I didn't, thinking that my induction will be around this week as my exams was push forward by my medical school. The reason they did it is because they wanted us to go into the workforce same time as the other university graduates. Even when we complained that making the exams early were too rushing for us.
But they must screw it up for us. Rushing us to fill in the forms right after the exams but in the end, we only found out that our forms haven't reach Ministry of Health(MOH) after nearly one month. What the f**K were they doing with our forms? Not enough toilet papers? Because of that, MOH couldn't register our names for the induction courses.
UMS Medical school, you guys are the worst! Because of you I missed the Standard Chartered KL International Marathon 2009! The vision of being on of the top medical school in the country is still far away. How can you all be one of the best when your staffs work like a bunch of slowmos?

I'm a Bloody Doctor. Not a Salesman!
God damn it. I just got woken up by my mother's friend. The reason? Just to tell my grandmother that the product she gave her is good for her health. Another reason why I should tell my grandmother that? Because I'm a doctor.
Hello lady? You woke me up from my rest. Yes, I'm A BLOODY DOCTOR. But MMC doesn't allow us to use our status to tell people how good a supplement is. Ka Na Sai! Want my license get suspended even before I start working is it?
