One day, in the ward:
Me: Uncle, I have to take your blood.
Uncle: Har? Why? The Emergency Room fellas tried and can't get them even after poking me more than 10 times!
Me: Why not I try?
Uncle: Better not. Lets take from my highway. I will take myself. The day I start playing with needles I think you are still a freaking small kid. Haha..
Me: Haha.. okok. -_-"
And so the uncle out performed me with a withdrawing of 10ml blood with ease from his femoral veins.
Why is it so easy for him? Well, he's a drug addict. A highway is the vein easily access to them, which are usually the big large veins, such as femoral veins. Drug addict's peripheral veins are usually sclerosed and it makes blood taking hard. Sigh...
