Overrated by Ho Chiak!: Ah Her Bah Kut Teh

Those of you who have watched Ho Chiak!, would have remembered about their review on this Ah Her Bah Kut Teh, which is situated at the hawker street of Pandamaran, Port Klang. In their review, they said that the soup that they served are little but thick. And if you read about other food blogs,mostly written by people out of Klang, they would say this Bah Kut Teh is the best and usually sold out by 7pm. Some even said that it will be full by 6pm and there is usually no place to sit by 6.30pm. There is even one blog that said people would be lining up waiting for the stall to start business by 5pm.

Well, all I can say is all these are OVERRATED! I have tasted better bah kut teh than this. Some facts that were wrong:

1) I went there at 6.30pm and there are so many places to sit, not as claimed by the blogs.
2) No one seems to be lining up to sit.
3) The soup is little(that's right) and it's bloody diluted, not as claimed by Ho Chiak!

They are quite stingy too. If you have asked for fried unions, they will only give you in sauce bowl. Freaking little compare to other bah kut teh shop! I would say, there is no loss if you decided to dine in other places. Nothing special though.

I would say, only Klang people knows how does a good bah kut teh taste like. The other blogs are just bullocks.
